The Chicago, Illinois Police Department (PD) requested one day of technical assistance to help roll out and incorporate the Blue Courage: The Heart and Mind of the Guardian training into the Chicago PD Police Training Academy's curriculum. Chicago PD also requested one Blue Courage: The Heart and Mind of the Guardian training. Blue Courage, Inc. was selected to fulfill the request. Blue Courage, Inc. provided the technical assistance on February 2, 2017 and delivered the two-day training to 49 newly promoted sergeants on February 27 - 28, 2017, in Chicago, Illinois.
The Chicago, Illinois Police Department (PD) requests one day of technical assistance to help roll out and incorporate the “Blue Courage: The Heart and Mind of the Guardian” training into the Chicago PD Police Training Academy’s curriculum. Additionally, Chicago PD requests one “Blue Courage: The Heart and Mind of the Guardian” training for up to 52 participants. The Blue Courage training course will lead to self-improvement, increased engagement, stress management, development of resilience, and improvement of the overall health and well-being of all employees in the department.

By submitting this application to BJA NTTAC, I understand that upon approval of this application for TTA, the requestor agrees to keep BJA NTTAC informed of any circumstances that may impact the delivery of the TTA, including changes in the date of the event, event cancellation, or difficulties communicating with the assigned TTA provider.
