This year's Wisconsin Association of Treatment Court Professionals 2016 State Conference is entitled: Celebrating 20 Years of Treatment Courts in WI: Looking Back and Moving Forward. Towards that theme, this year's conference will feature a tribal track hosted by the Tribal Law and Policy Institute, featuring workshops on the Tribal 10 Key Components, Historical Trauma, Enablement Prevention, and Indian Country Legal Issues.

The Wisconsin Association of Treatment Court Professionals (WATCP) has reached out to the Tribal Law and Policy Institute (TLPI) to present at the WATCP conference to provide a tribal perspective to the agenda and to better engage tribes within the State of Wisconsin.
TLPI submitted four workshop proposals, all of which were accepted. They included: Healing to Wellness Courts; Historical Trauma; Enablement Prevention Program; and Indian Country Legal Issues. This will represent a significant Native presence a the conference, which is incredibly exciting.
TLPI submitted a Grant Adjustment Notice to attend the WATCP, as well our presentation materials to the WATCP in order to make the materials available online to all attendees.
TLPI presented four workshops at the WATCP, including Healing to Wellness Courts; Historical Trauma; Enablement Prevention Program; and Indian Country Legal Issues.

- The organizational and/or community needs specific to the request for TTA services.
- The benefits or anticipated outcomes from the receipt of TTA services.
By submitting this application to BJA NTTAC, I understand that upon approval of this application for TTA, the requestor agrees to keep BJA NTTAC informed of any circumstances that may impact the delivery of the TTA, including changes in the date of the event, event cancellation, or difficulties communicating with the assigned TTA provider.
