Tribal Judicial Institute will be assisting the National American Indian Court Judges Association by providing input through the planning phase of AIJC and will provide faculty for workshops at the conference. The AIJC 2015 costs were covered from other program funding sources. Funds will also be used to deliver office based and on site technical assistance.

Conference call with other partners to discuss the planning of AIJC. began discussion in August 2016.
Set up conference call for October 2016 with partners to gather information to start working on an agenda. Follow up conference call in December 2016 to discuss venue and agenda. Feb. 20, 2017 follow up partner call on agenda, venue and host Indian Nation.
After Feb. 20, 2017 the National American Indian Court Judges Association took the lead for planning and implementing the American Indian Justice Conference and Tribal Judicial Institute moved to the role of assisting with the planning.
The Tribal Judicial Institute Participated in planning calls throughout the reporting period of July-December, 2017. The Tribal Judicial Institute also submitted workshop proposals for inclusion in the agenda. The Tribal Judicial Institute did present the workshops and session was selected by NACIJA to be included on the AIJC agenda. The Tribal Judicial Institute also assisted with marketing of the AIJC 2017.
