Tsyosha?aht Delgado, Director of the Wisconsin Reintegration Program contacted Kimberly Cobb to discuss sustainability of her program and shared that her program was not re-funded and will be ending services on 12/30/15. She wanted to meet with me to discuss some additional funding possibilities. I invited her to visit with Samantha Casey (Ho-Chunk Nation) during my onsite visit with them on September 29-30, 2015 and she agreed.

We met for breakfast and I shared with her some ideas to keep the program going, or seeking funding to start it up again. I had printed out some grants that come out each year specific to reentry (second chance act, etc.) and encouraged her to sign up on grants.gov to be notified of when they are released. I also provided her information on some private foundations to check into.
She accompanied me to HO-Chunk and shared information with Samantha on reentry and her program and offered her assistance.
I followed up with an email to give Tsyosha?aht on 10/13/15 regarding information on another possibility under the Administration of Native Americans http://www.acf.hhs.gov/programs/ana/grants/funding-opportunities. They have a variety of different grant categories that I think a reentry initiative (or pieces of one) could be funded under.
