How do you anticipate that the requested assistance will address the problems?
My team serves a county with a population of roughly 715,000. We are extremely active, being activated almost weekly.We recently lost a large number of senior officers all possessing vast amounts of experience. This loss of experience coupled with a low training budget given to us by our departmental upper management, has hurt our ability to acquire the proper training on a regular basis. This funding will enable my team to attend multiple advanced level courses that will further our skill set at a much faster rate, enabling us to mitigate the loss of experience and fill that gap. The better trained my team is, the higher rate of success we can achieve. We can ensure that the emergency situations we are tasked with, are resolved keeping innocent civilian casualties as well as officer casualties as close to the absolute goal of zero, as humanly possible. The courses this funding would allow also gives my team a chance to attend them together, drastically increasing our efficiency of teamwork, and ability to work together.
