The Maine Chiefs of Police Association requested training on mentoring strategies to improve retention and help new police chiefs and other supervisory level law enforcement succeed during their position transitions. The presentation will highlight the impact of providing mentoring support to aspiring and transitioning law enforcement leaders, identify some of the challenges faced by law enforcement executives, and build executive mentoring skills by working through real-life examples.
