Submitted by Mr. Dave Marimon on

- In December of 2013 the Kentucky Justice and Public Safety Cabinet submitted a 2 part TTA request related to ACA and Medicaid Expansion. Part one of the request was a one day training for the agency and its state and local constituents related to the public safety opportunities available now that the state has expanded Medicaid. Part two would include working with the KY DOC, DJJ and DPA on integrating enrollment into their work. In response NCJA has submitted a proposal to BJA for review.

- During the reporting period NCJA began working with the Kentucky Justice and Public Safety Cabinet on meeting their request for a one day training on the public safety opportunities available through Medicaid expansion. While the exact scope of this training has yet to be decided, NCJA has begun contracting with TASC to provide onsite/day of and ongoing TA with for the planning teams efforts.
