As we bolster our training and technical resources to Tribal law enforcement agencies across the United States, the South Eastern Tribal leaders have requested TTA outreach. This will become a long-term partnership and the technical assistance is in its early stages. In a training request letter sent by USET Public Safety Director Bruce Lee, wrote, "This event will convene Tribal Police Chiefs and other key stakeholders from tribes located east of the Mississippi River, providing an essential platform to discuss law enforcement challenges and promote safety and wellness within our communities. With the expertise of the former Chiefs of the Valor Safety and Wellness initiatives, particularly the National Law Enforcement Officers Suicide Awareness Program (SAFLEO) and the National Law Enforcement Roadway Safety (NLERS) Program, we believe that a presentation on these topics would greatly benefit our attendees. The insights you can provide regarding effective training strategies and resource availability will be invaluable in supporting our officers' safety and well being."
