oin other tribal grantees and stakeholders for this four-part community of practice series on leveraging peer recovery support services (PRSS) to enhance alcohol and substance use recovery in tribal communities.
Engage in a peer exchange with other tribal practitioners and peer recovery coaches who are working on peer supports and additional substance use interventions at various intercepts of the tribal justice system, including at the community level, tribal law enforcement, courts/detention/jails; and community corrections and reentry. Explore the tribal adaptation of the Sequential Intercept Model. Discuss program implementation successes and strategies to overcome common barriers to PRSS implementation. Review best practices in integrating culture in PRSS and other substance misuse programs.
Session #2 will focus on tribal law enforcement.
