The TA Center participated in the 2024 SCA. All 13 of the TA Center's FY24 grantees were in attendance. In total, in addition to 67 community-based and Smart Reentry grantees. The TA Center facilitated the following conference sessions: “Culturally Responsive Behavioral Health Care Access in Reentry,” and “The Importance of Effective Corrections and Community-Based Organization Relationships.” Additionally, TA Center staff and subject matter experts (SMEs) hosted three breakout sessions. During these sessions, grantees participated in small group discussions focused on Housing Challenges, Sustainability and Outreach Planning, Program Resilience - Everyday adaptability, Program Resilience - Responding to Crisis, and Employment and Workforce Opportunities for Formerly Incarcerated Individuals. One breakout session was specifically tailored for FY24 grantees, providing an opportunity to meet TA Center staff and connect/network with other new grantees. Throughout the conference, TA Center staff and SMEs held 27 individual grantee meetings. Six grantees presented on panels. TA Center staff attended these presentations, two of which they moderated.
