During the July–December 2024 reporting period, IIR held a kick-off planning discussion with BJA Senior Policy Advisor David Lewis on October 8, 2024, to explore and identify an initial plan for developing and delivering webinars on the topic of 28 CFR Part 23. Three webinars were proposed, targeted for general awareness, role-specific, and entity-specific focus. A strawman proposal was developed by IIR, including webinar outlines and a proposal to establish a task team/working group under the Global Advisory Committee, such as a P/CRCL training working group, to increase resources for this effort and provide subject-matter expert (SME) support. The strawman proposal was sent to BJA for review and approval on October 29, 2024. At the end of this reporting period, the proposal was still under review by BJA.
