Report and Model Code Repositories?
In October, DSpace, the model code repository infrastructure vendor, released a test report repository to CSG Justice Center staff. CSG Justice Center staff reached out to states for approval to host reports on the repository, with 10 states agreeing so far. CSG Justice Center staff began uploading reports from states that agreed to have their reports hosted on the site.
Job Descriptions
CSG Justice Center staff drafted job descriptions for entry level and mid-level corrections analysts to help corrections leaders build data and analytic teams to support their agencies.

Community Forum and Office Hours?
As of October, 153 corrections professionals from 42 states and Washington, DC are registered for the forum. Some topics posted to the forum in October included how to pivot columns in R, IT considerations when incorporating open-sources tools, and how agencies are calculating Out of Cell time for restrictive housing.
CSG Justice Center staff held office hours on October 1 and October 15. On October 1, 10 corrections professionals from Alaska, Kansas, Nebraska, Louisiana, North Dakota, and Illinois attended office hours. The discussion focused on recidivism and how to manage the timeframe of when a conviction/sentencing happens upon return to prison. On October 15, 13 corrections professionals from Missouri, Alaska, Alabama, Montana, Florida, Pennsylvania, Idaho, Washington, and Washington DC attended office hours. The discussion focused on analyzing health records.
Seminar Series
CSG Justice Center staff continued planning the next Seminar Series, hosted by Iowa's Department of Corrections' research director. The tentative date is December 17.
