This session will explore innovative housing solutions, including Impact Justice's reentry housing model, The Homecoming Project, as well as the various tenets of housing innovation. Through interactive discussion, attendees will engage in mapping creative housing strategies that incorporate likely and unlikely partnerships. Additionally, the session will introduce the new National Housing Incubator, a transformative initiative aimed at scaling solutions nationwide. Attendees will leave this workshop with insights into barriers to stable housing, including the prison-to-homelessness pipeline, and will understand how to develop innovative housing models (e.g., the Homecoming Project, A New Way of Life, LA Room and Board) and creative partnerships that can effectively address housing insecurity, as well as identify scalable approaches to meet community needs and reduce recidivism.
