A review of all existing program documents will transpire to include VTC procedure manuals, participant handbook, mentor manual, BeST Assessment (as applicable), Hopes and Concerns assessment tool, and relevant past/present grant information. A discussion of all documentation with the designated Justice for Vets (JFV) staff member (JFV Leader) in advance of formal involvement with the VTC team members will occur. Designated JFV consultants will participate in virtual interviews and meetings with individual members of the VTC team, and, in conjunction with the JFV Leader, will observe a virtual VTC pre-court team staffing and court session. A summary teleconference meeting with the VTC team to review observations based on the results of the VTC TA will be held. A formal written summary of the VTC TA, along with the recommendations for programmatic enhancement will be processed and delivered to the VTC team. A copy of the final report will remain on file with JFV. Team interviews, staffing, and court observations are performed virtually via ZOOM rather than in person due to COVID-19 restrictions.
