Engage in peer exchange with other services providers focused on the value of multi-jurisdictional collaboration in juvenile diversion. Discussion will focus on the disproportionate representation of Native American youth in the justice system and how South Dakota’s collaborative efforts have translated to tangible benefits for tribal youth living on reservations. Conversation will also highlight how the committee members help shape initiative objectives and implementation strategies and the overall importance and impact of the partnership between county and tribal authorities.
