· Secure presenters and create an Eventbrite invitation.

· Arrange a venue and handle necessary permits for outdoor events.

· Identify potential donations: decorations, food, musicians, and prizes.

· Rent stage and sound equipment (also a possible donation or discounted items).

· Draft and distribute a press release.

· Invite local news outlets.

· Consider branding: logo, t-shirts, swag

· Flier campaign

Ideas for Overdose Awareness Day:

· Host a cookout with Narcan education and harm reduction kit distribution.

· Include entertainment featuring stories of lived experiences.

· Invite speakers such as legislators, local politicians, community leaders, and clergy.

· Set up tables for service/health/harm reduction providers.

· Organize prize giveaways, like gift cards or vouchers from local restaurants.

They would like to identify another site to offer creative best practices to work similar to theirs.

Info on best practices. Connect to peer site in Duluth MN.

Share conference list.

Possibly help put together ideas for their support group, they are still in early stages.

Ask who needs to be added to the contact list.
