Representative from the five CTI Demonstration Sites were chosen by their leadership to attend the IACP 2024 Technology Conference in Charlotte, NC. This opportunity was a peer learning experience where the selected individuals were given a curated workshop list based on topics addressed in their agency's Community Trust Initiative application, subsequent monthly check-ins, and quarterly all-sites calls. At the end of the conference, the individuals from the Demonstration Sites were brought together for an informal gathering where they were able to meet their peers and discuss what they had learned during the conference and how police use of technology can impact community trust through a facilitated discussion. The selected individuals were all up-and-coming leaders within their department who would not otherwise have had the opportunity to attend the IACP 2024 Tech Conference.
