"Objective 1: Individualized Technical Assistance to Grantees In March, the PADOC grant transitioned from TA Coach Megan Pfeiffer to TA Coach Tiana Smith, who was provided with a comprehensive programmatic background and updates to ensure the transition did not impact project activities. On March 26, PADOC submitted a grant award modification (GAM) to BJA for a change in location from the Philadelphia District to Chester District. Once PADOC receives approval, they will post the vacant Chester Office Case Manager position and will update the Planning & Implementation (P&I) Guide to include the Chester Office. The Philadelphia Office was initially identified within the application;, however, in January 2024, the PADOC decided to implement Swift, Safe, and Certain within the Philadelphia Office and not SMART Supervision. Due to this decision, they have submitted a request to BJA to change the implementation location to the Chester Office. PADOC successfully filled the previous vacant Grants Manager position, who will be attending future CSG Justice Center TA calls. PADOC will be offering the position of the Pittsburgh Office Case Manager this upcoming week, and the Harrisburg Office is actively conducting interviews for the vacant Case Manager position. The Deputy Director of the Pittsburgh District Office has finalized his presentation on Intensive Community Supervision for the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency Criminal Justice Advisory Board conferences taking place on April 9 and 10 at Penn State University.
