"Objective 3: Promote Justice Counts with the goal of increasing participation and support.â¯Â Prospective States Update: In February, CSG Justice Center staff continued recruiting in new states, including meetings in Arkansas with the Sevier County Sheriff's Office; New York, with the District Attorneys Association of the State of New York; Washington, DC, with the District of Columbia Criminal Justice Coordinating Council. Several agencies opted in to Justice Counts including the Massachusetts Probation Services, Office of Community Correction, the Sevier County Sheriff's Office, the East Baton Rouge Sheriffâs Office, the Baton Rouge Public Defenderâs Office, the Bernalillo County Sheriffâs Office, the Butler Township Police Department, the Vandalia Police Department, the Montgomery County Public Defender, the Amberly Village Police Department, the Hamilton County Sheriffâs Office, the Hamilton County Office of Reentry, the Lee County Criminal Division, the Overland Park Municipal Court, and the Vernon County Prosecuting Attorneyâs Office. State Engagement Update: In Indiana, CSG Justice Center staff met with Blackford County Community Corrections to provide technical onboarding support.   In Iowa, CSG Justice Center staff strategized with the Polk County CJCC on outreach and recruitment.  In Louisiana, CSG Justice Center staff were on site to attend the Louisiana Public Safety Summit, where they networked with key stakeholders, policymakers, law enforcement officials, and community leaders. While in Louisiana, CSG Justice Center staff met with the New Orleans Office of Criminal Justice Coordination, Eat Baton Rough Sheriffâs Office, the Baton Rouge City Prosecutor, the Baton Rouge Police Department, and the 19th Judicial District Court and the Baton Rouge Public Defender.   In Massachusetts, CSG Justice Center staff continued to provide support to the Springfield Police Department in onboarding.   In Missouri, CSG Justice Center staff provided onboarding support to the Greene County Prosecuting Attorneyâs Office, the Pulaski County Prosecuting Attorneyâs Office, the Osage County Sheriffâs Office, and the Livingston County Prosecuting Attorneyâs Office. CSG Justice Center staff also met with the Vernon County Prosecuting Attorneyâs Office to provide a project overview.  In Nebraska, CSG Justice Center staff had a pre-onboarding meeting with the Nebraska Board of Parole.  In New Mexico, CSG Justice Center staff met with the Law Office of the Public Defender to discuss statewide engagement. CSG Justice Center staff were also on site and met with the New Mexico Sentencing Commission, the Albuquerque Community Safety Department, the Albuquerque Police Department, the Eighth Judicial District Attorney, the Bernalillo County Sheriffâs Office, the New Mexico Administrative Office of the Courts, and the New Mexico Legislative Finance Committee.  In Ohio, CSG Justice Center staff entered data to Publisher for three counties from the Office of the Public Defender and provided technical support to the Franklin County Common Pleas Clerkâs Office and Ohio Criminal Justice Service. CSG Justice Center staff met with the Butler Township Police Department and the Montgomery County Sheriffâs Department to prepare for an upcoming presentation and met with the Hocking College Police Department to introduce them to the project and reconnected with the Lucas County Criminal Justice Coordinating Council. While on site, CSG Justice Center staff met with the Hamilton County Office of Reentry, the Hamilton County Sheriffâs Office, the Amberley Village Police Department, the Montgomery County Public Defenderâs Office, and the Vandalia Police Department. CSG Justice Center staff also presented to the Montgomery County Police Chiefs Association.   In Pennsylvania, CSG Justice Center staff met with In-Synch Systems, a law enforcement vendor, to introduce them to the project. CSG Justice Center staff also provided onboarding support to the Derry Township Police Department and the Dauphin County Office of the District Attorney.  In Washington, CSG Justice Center staff were on site in Kings County, Snohomish County, and Thurston County. CSG Justice Center staff presented at the American Probation and Parole Association conference. While at the conference, CSG Justice Center staff connected with the National Institute of Corrections to introduce them to the project and explore ways to support each other. CSG Justice Center staff met with the King County Prosecuting Attorneyâs Office, the Washington Department of Corrections, the Tukwila City Prosecutor and the Tukwila Police Department, Thurston County IT, Thurston County Pretrial Services, Thurston County Sheriffâs Office, Thurston County Prosecuting Attorneyâs Office, the Public Safety Policy and Research Center, the American Civil Liberties Union of Washington, and the Snohomish County Prosecuting Attorneyâs Office. CSG Justice Center staff provided in-person onboarding support to the Thurston County District Court and Thurston County Public Defense. "
