"Objective 6: Provide intensive TA to 10 states, supporting the adoption and use of the Justice Counts metrics to drive decision-making. (Founding State Work) CSG Justice Center staff sent out over 700 emails to leaders within law enforcement, explaining our work and requesting time to set up one-on-one meetings with our team. Additionally, CSG Justice Center staff met in NY to discuss onboarding work, vendor relations, and metrics development.  In Indiana, CSG Justice Center staff discussed statewide recruitment efforts with the Indiana Sheriffâs Association. CSG Justice Center staff also spoke to Justice Counts partners and champions from both Cass and Marion Counties to discuss updates from Indiana Justice Reinvestment Advisory Councils (JRAC) and to coordinate next steps and strategies for further expansion of Justice Counts throughout the state.â¯Â  In Iowa, CSG Justice Center staff spoke to the Iowa Department of Corrections about their staffing data and how using Justice Counts metrics could help them answer questions on staff hiring and retention.â¯Â  In Louisiana, CSG Justice Center staff spoke with the 22nd Judicial Courts to gain a better understanding of the current legislative challenges throughout Louisiana impacting our work, and discussed how Justice Counts could support agencies in advocating for their needs and provide connections across the state. CSG Justice Center staff also met with the East Baton Rouge Criminal Justice Coordinating Council to discuss recruitment in light of recent political developments and introduced the project to the Louisiana Commission on Law Enforcement, the Bogalusa Police Department, the 22nd District Attorneyâs Office, and the Thibodaux Police Department.  In Missouri, CSG Justice Center staff were on site and met with the Ferguson Police Department, the 22nd Judicial Circuit Court, the St. Louis Division of Corrections, the St. Louis County Police Department, the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the St. Charles County Prosecuting Attorneyâs Office, the St. Ann Police Department, the St. Charles Police Department, the Florissant Police Department, the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorneyâs Office and also participated in a meeting for the Prosecuting Center of Excellence with 30 prosecutors from across the country.â¯Several offices from Missouri opted in to Justice Counts in April including the Moniteau County Prosecuting Attorneyâs Office, the Edmunson Police Department, and the Lacelde County Prosecuting Attorneyâs Office.   In Montana, CSG Justice Center staff met with the Legislative Fiscal Division, the Office of Research and Policy Analysis, and the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL) to discuss a possible Justice Counts and NCSL joint presentation to the Montana Modernization and Risk Analysis Committee.â¯Â  In New Mexico, CSG Justice Center staff conducted an onboarding session with Bernalillo County Sheriffâs Office.â¯Â  In Ohio, CSG Justice Center staff were on site and met with the Dayton Police Department, the Dayton Clerk of Court, and the Dayton Public Health Community Overdose Team. CSG Justice Center staff met virtually with the Lucas County Criminal Justice Coordinating Council to realign project goals and establish next steps for data sharing strategies. CSG Justice Center staff conducted onboarding sessions with the Hamilton County Sheriffâs Office, the Amberley Village Police Department, the Montgomery County Public Defenderâs Office, the Butler Township Police Department, and the Ohio Office of the Public Defender. Lastly, CSG Justice Center staff and staff from SecurManage introduced the project to Alvis, a reentry treatment center and discussed next steps.  In Washington, CSG Justice Center staff conducted an onboarding call with the Thurston County Prosecuting Attorneyâs Office.â¯"
