The Tribal Law and Policy Institute (TLPI), along with our training and technical assistance partners - the Tribal Judicial Institute (TJI), and National American Indian Court Judges Association (NAICJA) present an upcoming webinar, Tribal Peacemaking and Peace Circles: Comparative Models and Implementations presented by A. Nikki Borchardt Campbell.
This webinar discussed the many models and implementations of peacemaking and peace circles found in Indian Country today. Models presented focused on adapting peacemaking to the culture and need of the community. The webinar presented peacemaking approaches, guiding principles, and issues/challenges while considering Peacemaking.

All tribal grantees were invited to attend the webinar and it was opened to the general public, other grantees, and tribes.
Registered Attendees: 166 registered; 5 Grantee Tribes registered; 8 Government agencies registered; 37 other agencies registered; 63 other tribes registered
ACTUAL ATTENDED: 91 total; 3 grantees; 4 government agencies and majority of others were other tribally affiliated agencies and courts
Evalutation: we received 25 evaluations back; and of those all either agreed or strongly agreed that their knowledge increased on the topic, it was relevant to their work, and it was applicable to their work. All other questions were answered the same positive way.
