4/15/24 TTA Needs Assessment meeting conducted via zoom to complete TTA Needs Assessment with St. Regis Mohawk Grantee.
In attendance, TLPI Tribal Courts Team, and TJI, Michelle Rivard Parks, and Judge Carrie Garrow, St. Regis Mohawk.
Needs Assessment: Team reviewed all of the answers on the TTA Needs Assessment and asked clarifying questions to get more information on specific needs, training, resources that would be helpful, current status of project goals, and planning. Team will get together to come up with a work plan and/or have an additional meeting to follow-up.

Samples for policies and procedures around security; empowering staff to use their expertise to build up the court and community policies;

Peer to Peer: Some sort of message board or listserv that people can ask to join and email questions through there for everyone to see and respond
Other: TJI has law clerks that can work on some things as well, if Judge Garrow comes up with anything that she needs in a relative quick amount of time

- General information regarding the request for TTA services, i.e., the who, what, where, when, and why.
- The organizational and/or community needs specific to the request for TTA services.
- The benefits or anticipated outcomes from the receipt of TTA services.
By submitting this application to BJA NTTAC, I understand that upon approval of this application for TTA, the requestor agrees to keep BJA NTTAC informed of any circumstances that may impact the delivery of the TTA, including changes in the date of the event, event cancellation, or difficulties communicating with the assigned TTA provider.
