Center staff hosted a VTC Summit on April 2nd and April 3rd, 2024, at the National Veterans Resource Center in Syracuse, NY. This in-person summit was an opportunity for teams from the 2019 cohort (California, Ohio, Maine, Pennsylvania, and Virginia) and 2022 cohort (Arkansas, Minnesota, Oklahoma, and Oregon) to connect, collaborate, and learn about veteran-specific topics through plenary and break-out sessions. Attendees included about ten VTC stakeholders from each of the nine different states that the Center has worked with on VTC strategic planning. The Center’s communication department is currently working on putting together footage from the event, including some one-on-one interviews with attendees. Based on feedback received, the Center will be facilitating meetings for the statewide leads to discuss the main initiatives that came from their respective strategic plans, challenges they have addressed, and their state’s current VTC priorities in further detail. Multiple statewide leads from the 2019 cohort asked for additional training and technical assistance from the Center to re-up their strategic planning efforts
