8/10 Call with Jeff Locke (Senior Policy Advisor) and Dr. Heather Tubman-Carbone (Associate Deputy Director) from BJA to discuss upcoming conference presentations, overall scoreboard development, and the upcoming metrics discussion with BJA.
8/10 Call with Cydni Sanchez (Deputy Chief Public Defender), Theresa Edwards (Deputy Director of Policy and Administration), and Rhonda Reeves (Program/Project Coordinator) from the Law Offices of the Public Defender in New Mexico where they established which metrics they will share data for and how.
8/11 Call with Robert Russell (County Prosecutor) from Johnson County Prosecutor’s Office to conduct an onboarding session and provide a demo walk-through of Publisher.
8/15 Call with Elrico V. Alli (Deputy Chief) and Tim Myers (Deputy Chief) from Columbus Police Department, Robert Stewart (Assistant Director) and Josh Hopping (Assistant Director) from Columbus Department of Public Safety, and Melissa Pierson (Chief Operating Officer) from Franklin County Office of Justice Policy and Programs to discuss which metrics they will share data for and who will manage which pieces of Justice Counts implementation.
8/15 Call with Elisha Zerman (Chief Probation Officer) and Melinda Brooks (Grants and Special Projects Manager) from Franklin County Municipal Court in Ohio to provide a refresher on utilizing the Publisher site to enter data.
8/16 Call with Justin Allen (1st Assistant Attorney) and Lynn Hicks (Public Information Officer) from Polk County Attorney’s Office to follow up on any outstanding questions they may have after configuring and uploading data to Publisher.
8/17 Call with Jesus Lucio (NIBRS Clerk) and Amanda Macias (Special Projects Supervisor) from New Mexico Department of Public Safety and Suhani Arora (Senior Manager) and Dinakaran Ambigapathy (Senior Director and Developer) from Optimum to discuss the Justice Counts report to be built within the Optimum records management system.
8/17 Call with Tracy Babineaux (Executive Director) and Angela Whittaker (Research Analyst with the Louisiana Department of Corrections to configure and onboard 5 years of data for prisons.
8/23 Call with Hillary Hartoin (Data Analyst) from Cass County, Indiana, to prepare for an upcoming Justice Counts presentation.
8/24 Call with Ana Escobar (Secretary of Corrections), Ulrich Jimerez (Secretary of Management), and Sixto Roderiguez (Deputy Secretary) from Puerto Rico Department of Corrections to give a Justice Counts Overview and configure prison metrics.
8/30 Call with Tracy Babineaux and Angela Whittaker from the Louisiana Department of Corrections to share more prison data in Publisher.

9/7 Call with Alyssa Gambarella (Director of Education and Engagement), Kiona Gaines (Director of Membership & Marketing), and Natalie Harrell (Director of Communications) from the National District Attorney’s Association to discuss project deliverables and the potential for upcoming membership engagement.
9/8 Call with Melissa Labriola (Senior Social Behavioral Scientist), John Hollywood (Senior Operations Researcher), Jill Donaghy (Policy Researcher), Roland Neil (Social Scientist), and Baji Tumendemberel (Data Scientist) from RAND to discuss remaining project deliverables for 2023. The team gave RAND some direction regarding what Justice Counts is looking for in publications.
9/20 Call with Elise Simonsen (Associate Program Director) from NACo to discuss project deliverables that remaining for 2023. Elise also informed us that they have some staff changes on the NACo team that will result in a change in billing.

10/6 Call with Brian Sims (Senior Medical Advisor) from the National Association of State Mental Health Program Directors to provide program updates and discuss plans for future promotional efforts.
10/12 Call with Mike Fargen (Data Center Manager) from the National Criminal Justice Association to provide project updates and discuss contract amendments.
10/13 Call with Diane Robinson (Senior Court Researcher) from the National Center for State Courts to discuss the upcoming Courts & Pretrial Subcommittee Meeting.
