As part of CHJ's intensive TTA, individual calls will be scheduled with new FY22 grantees. Initial introductory calls included discussion about: the grantees project and deflection initiative; identifying top priorities the grantee have for their program over the next 3-6 months; and discussion to determine at what level of readiness is the grantee’s program currently at to implement these priorities.
6/2/23 Intro call discussing current COSSUP grant. Experiencing challenges getting public school systems, 60 chiefs, 6 diff DCF offices to form an advisory council for a drug endangered children initiative. They are developed 5 DEC alliances in county regions based on school districts and DCF offices- figuring out where you can replicate and where need to start- Nat DEC is a subawardee in their COSSAP grant
7/27/23 Visited Worcester Co grantee team at their offices. Discussed their goals for the upcoming year and the multiple COSSUP grants they have for different projects across the intercepts. Discussed the deflection mentoring opportunity.
