"The CSG Justice Center TA provider conducted an in-person site visit with the grantee. Goals during the site visit included the following:
· Discuss how Guara Bí can support Puerto Rico DCR as their partner on the grant; discuss Puerto Rico DCR’s role versus Guara Bí’s role
· Strengthen collaboration with Department of Corrections
· Tour the correctional facility; observe referral, screening, and programmatic processes
· Meet with staff to learn about experiences in the program
· Highlight program successes; discuss challenges; engage jurisdiction partners and stakeholders on the goals of the project and how it fits into the larger system
· Discuss engagement techniques which will be useful for the target population and identify strategies for successful collaboration within the jurisdiction"
