This third of four quarterly convenings of the ISI/Smart Supervision Track grantees was held in-person over 1.5 days in Arlington, VA. Participants engaged in a variety of sessions with the following objectives:
- Explore best practices in community corrections
- Identify lessons learned, areas for growth, and next steps for your ISI programs and for the field
- Connect with fellow ISI grantees to share and challenges, successes, and innovations across sites
Session topics included: The Future of Community Corrections, Technological Innovation in Community Corrections, Adopting Evidence-Based Practices: What Works in Community Corrections, Grantee Discussion Session: Knowing your Impact, Cross-Sector Collaboration: Applied Research Partnerships, Communication Planning to Support ISI Initiatives, Lessons From the Field on Risk-based supervision and improving offender violation guide, Adopting a Person-Centered Approach in Community Corrections, and Building Trauma-Informed Organizations.
