CSG Justice Center staff conducted a combined site visit with the FY21 JMHCP County of Rockdale, GA (wraparound), FY21 JMHCP Rockdale, GA (RCSO), and FY22 JMHCP Connect & Protect (C&P) Rockdale, GA grantees. On the first day of the visit the CSG Justice Center staff learned more about the current processes and gaps in services/programs for people with behavioral health needs involved in criminal justice intercepts 2 and 3. CSG Justice Center staff then provided a presentation on best practices and lessons learned from other programs serving the pretrial population. The second day of the site visit focused around discussions to outline the project scope to better distill goals, target population, intervention(s), deliverable(s), and program staff roles. This included a session with all key stakeholders to gather perspectives on the developing project scope and determine next steps necessary for project planning. The visit also included tours of their Recovery Community Organization Grit and Grace and the Crisis Service Center that the grantee is building. The Crisis Service Center is being constructed to be used as multi-use site with their crisis center, Grit and Grace (which will move to this new site), and transitional housing.
