After TLPI sent a Publication Announcement for the Joint Jurisdiction Needs Assessment Full Report and Summary Findings, Elizabeth (Betsy) Horsman reached out to Jacob Metoxen at TYRC stating that she had a legal question regarding the appeals process for joint jurisdiction courts they she wanted to ask the authors of this report. She also requested if she could get a speaker on joint jurisdiction courts to present for 30-45 minutes at one of their monthly Advisory Board meetings. She said the request would be subject to their planning team's agreement and their next meeting would be on March 17 and so she is hoping to have the presentation on the following meeting on April 21. Jacob reached out to Heather Valdez Freedman who connected him to Catherine Retana. Catherine reached out to Judge Korey Wahwassuck, one of the authors of the publication to present, Judge Wahwassuck agreed and presented to the Saint Regis Mohawk Justice Advisory Board on April 21, 2022 via Team Meetings.
