Baseline Data for Outcome Evaluation
Baseline data will consist of:
1. COMS data consisting of historical information on the administrative segregation population
a. The number of admissions to administrative segregation and length of stay.
b. The rate at which inmates are released to general population.
c. The rate at which inmates are released directly to the community from administrative segregation.
d. The composition of the population in administrative segregation (e.g., demographics, mental health status, risk level, needs).
e. The incidence of violence (inmate-on-staff and inmate-on-inmate assaults) in administrative segregation and in general population.
f. The incidence of use of force actions.
g. The incidence of other incidents like self-injurious behavior, or staff injuries.
h. The rate of return to administrative segregation.

a. The number of admissions to administrative segregation and length of stay.
b. The rate at which inmates are released to general population.
c. The rate at which inmates are released directly to the community from administrative segregation.
d. The composition of the population in administrative segregation (e.g., demographics, mental health status, risk level, needs).
e. The incidence of violence (inmate-on-staff and inmate-on-inmate assaults) in administrative segregation and in general population.
f. The incidence of use of force actions.
g. The incidence of other incidents like self-injurious behavior, or staff injuries.
h. The rate of return to administrative segregation.
i. The rate at which administrative segregation inmates participate in behavior change programming

- General information regarding the request for TTA services, i.e., the who, what, where, when, and why.
- The organizational and/or community needs specific to the request for TTA services.
- The benefits or anticipated outcomes from the receipt of TTA services.
By submitting this application to BJA NTTAC, I understand that upon approval of this application for TTA, the requestor agrees to keep BJA NTTAC informed of any circumstances that may impact the delivery of the TTA, including changes in the date of the event, event cancellation, or difficulties communicating with the assigned TTA provider.
