NCIA tracks its 'significant' TA requests by PIECP certificate holders on a quarterly basis. These TA requests do not cover the every day general PIECP questions that all of our staff take on a daily basis.
TA Informational requests covere all areas of PIECP from certification applications, designation and undesignation applications to NEPa, threshold inquiries, wage verifications, PIECP models, assessments, training wages, allowable deductions, etc.

Two quarterly TA summaries were compiled during this reporting period. NCIA fulfilled 20 TA requests in the 3rd Quarter and 29 TA requests in the 4th Quarter. Topics included PIECP threshold inquiry, designations, notable tasks, general wages, split wages, SOC codes, training wages, CAC models, certification application process, deductions, work opportunity tax credit, piece work, sick leave, victims compensation, offender savings, and overtime pay.
Two quarterly TA summaries were compiled during this reporting period. NCIA fulfilled 23 TA requests in the First Quarter and 27 TA requests in the 2nd Quarter of CY 2016. Topics included PIECP room & board deduction, PIECP guideline, designations, PIECP administrative policy samples, non-displacement, notable tasks, general wages, split wages, SOC codes, training wages, CAC models, certification application process, deductions, work opportunity tax credit, piece work, sick leave, victims compensation, offender savings, annual wage verification and update, victim compensation and restitution deductions, quarterly reports, workers comp deduction, parolee participation in PIECP, juvenile offender participation in PIECP, and sample PIECP legislation.
Two quarterly TA summaries were compiled during this reporting period. NCIA fulfilled 51 TA requests in the third and fourth quarters of CY 2016. Topics included guidance on CAC designations, certification, threshold inquiry, family support deduction, NEPA, federal unemployment tax, I-9 forms, undesignations, decertification, employer vs. customer models of PIECP, IRS levy, executive order 11755, tax filing support for PIECP, workers compensation, umbrella certification, victims compensation deducation, 18 USC 1762 packageing requirements, split wage policy, 10th percentile wage policy, manpower model, break requirement, non-displacement and notable tasks, among others.
NCIA fulfilled 17 TA requests in the first quarter of CY 2017. Topics included guidance on NEPA, piece work wage, 18 USC 1762 statute, non-displacement, threshold inquiry, document retention, CAC re-designation, draft legislation review, workers compensation, 18 USC 1761 (a), wage plans, certification application, among others.
