10.4.21 Grantee reached out to CHJ: Given the changes in the project I was wondering if you and your team could assist/support the following: • Introducing yourself and your organization's role to the new DPD Commander (contact information pending) • The hiring/retention/coordination of a project manager • Reallocation of funds o Since travel has been suspended, LaNeice (and potentially others) would like to reallocate funds set aside for travel to programmatic needs. This is a very timely matter given the end date of the grant (September 2021) It would be helpful if your organization had a list or "menu" of services/support you all can provide for grantees. The evaluation strategy has also changed quite drastically given the roll out of the project. If you all had access to subject matter experts surrounding cases studies, qualitative work (e.g., key informant interviews) that would be helpful. I realize this is something that will take some time, but perhaps we can start the conversation tomorrow. Finally, I would like to setup a schedule for regular meetings.

Call 3.28: LEAD is operated by going through the grants department in Detroit – believe to be at the limit of grant extensions with BJA – we advise that it is still worth talking with their BJA advisor (metrics of their program will be beneficial towards additional funding).
