The CIT Center was contacted by a collaboration of community partnerships from Little Rock Arkansas requesting a presentation of the CIT model. Retired Major Sam Cochran, Dr. Randolph Dupont (University of Memphis) and Dr. Thomas Kirchberg (Memphis VA Hospital) presented the CIT model as a community program - The Core Element of the CIT Model. Several community partners were present: Law Enforcement, Mental Health Providers, and Advocates.

The CIT Center was contacted by a collaboration of community partnerships from Little Rock Arkansas requesting a presentation of the CIT model. Retired Major Sam Cochran, Dr. Randolph Dupont (University of Memphis) and Dr. Thomas Kirchberg (Memphis VA Hospital) presented the CIT model as a community program - The Core Element of the CIT Model was the meeting theme. The community partners expressed a willingness to continue in efforts of pursuing the CIT model as outlined within this presentation. Several key community partners were present: Law Enforcement, Mental Health Providers, and Advocates. Grant assistance to this group is very likely to be continued in various different engagement strategies yet to be determined.
