Note: Prior TTA by CHJ was done discussed the basics of first responder diversion and being introduced to Door County's programming- recorded under Contact: Liz Junion. TA occurred between 10/22 and 6/3. Formal TA request submitted for more intensive solutions action planning and introductions to similar diversion sites. On 6/3 Call with CHJ and Door County occurred as continuation of prior TA. Next steps for TA discussed, including SAP.
Call 7.15: discussed building a stakeholder group and reviewed strategic action plan section 2; discussed connecting program evaluation partner with a researcher from the IL Criminal Justice Information Authority. Discuss potential in-person training on deflection and the science of addiction with their law enforcement partners. Further TA from CHJ includes: finding resources to identify what data is needed to evaluate self-referral programs and brainstorming how do Officer/First Responder Prevention and Officer intervention programs move to Self Referral deflection; Resources identified to be sent included: ☐ Self-Referral case study ☐National Library Association Handbook ☐SAFE Project website ☐Families Against Narcotics website ☐ICJIA's published research on A Way Out in Lake County, IL ☐CHJ's Quarterly call recording with Michelle Webb and notes ☐Altarum peer resources Next call is scheduled for 8.26
