In May 2021 Colorado Judicial requested a conversation about resources that may be available in support of a project they were developing to build aftercare and peer recovery support in problem-solving courts.
Since then, Altarum staff met with their team in July 2021, as well as 10/5/21, 10/27/21, 12/1/21, and 1/25/22 in preparation for the development of regular Community of Practice meetings among Program Coordinators and those at the Statewide level to identify best practices, program implementation timelines, training implementation, and sustainable funding sources.
Colorado also requested Altarum develop a 2-pager on the efficacy of peer supports that they could share with their stakeholders. That 2-pager has been completed.
Colorado Judicial has since experienced staff turnover and are waiting for all contracts to be executed in each of their districts prior to moving forward with any further TA services. They confirmed they would reach out when they are ready to resume TA.
