Tulalip is working collaboratively with Children and Family Futures to provide training and techincal assistance to the Tulalip Healing to Wellness Court. The collaboration has focused on providing tribal-specific practices for Tulalip to use in developing their Family Healing to Wellness Court. The intended outcome of the technical assistance is for Tulalip Team members to gain knowledge about Family Wellness Court best practices, especially those that are tribal-specific to build on the TTA they have received from Children and Family Futures previously.

TLPI delivered a virtual onsite training to the Tulalip Tribe from November 18, 2020 through November 20, 2020. TLPI provided in-depth training and Q&A on the follwing schdule:

1:00 pm – 1:30 pm Welcome and Introductions
1:30 pm – 3:00 pm Overview of the Family Treatment Court Best Practice Standards & How they apply in a Tribal Healing to Wellness Court model
Objective: Provide overview of the most current best standards for
Family Treatment Courts. Engage discussion on how these standards can
be applied in a tribal Healing to Wellness Court/Family Preservation
Court.

Objective: Team Dynamics: Shifting Roles, Role of treatment providers
and social services workers, provide scenarios provide information &

Tulalip is working with Children and Family Futures, so our partnership with CFF is focusing on providing tribal-specific practices for Tulalip to use in developing their Family Healing to Wellness Court. TLPI is currently planning additional virtual onsite training for the Tulalip HTWC Court. Initial consultation and resource packages delivery has been completed with pending onsite.
