The NPF team is working with Charleston Police Department (CPD) on a targeted TTA approach. The project team has worked to help CPD develop some best practice metrics to integrate into their Stat360. At this time time, CPD has paused work with CS360.

The NPF team observed CPD’s Stat360 meeting to gain further insight into the process, the command staff and identify areas for training and technical assistance.
The CS360 project team, along with SMEs Ben Horwitz and Jeff Asher, provided an analyst training at the beginning of December to Ms. Stiver and three of CPD’s analyst team members. The SMEs presented four main topics: crime analyst qualifications and strategies for best practice, how the PD can best support their analysts, stakeholders and transparency, and skill-building for analysts.
The project team held ad hoc meetings with CPD to check in on the progress for implementing CS360.
