Mount Hope Police Department (MHPD) has continued to engage with the CS360 project team and has been moving the program along. MHPD remains the smallest department engaged with CS360. NPF rolled out the community survey and the officer perceptions survey. The NPF project team and the research team also put together some proposed metrics for MHPD based on Governor Cuomo’s Executive Order requiring police agencies to increase meaningful engagement with the community. The survey reports were provided to MHPD in March 2021. A steering committee met to begin to establish a community engagement team. The kick-off Community Engagement Team (CET) met to determine the priority area of focus: community awareness, connection, and engagement with officers.
