Discussed the solicitation Washington posted at the beginning of the year for forensic genealogy testing and requested Kate to reach out to Utah to discuss the solicitation. Discussed plans for Purpose Area 1 grant now that the inventory is completed. Kate indicated the inventory certification needs to be updated with the correct number of partially tested SAKs. Discussed updates to lawfully owed DNA collection for their Purpose Area 3 grant and rescheduling the reoccurring monthly check-in.
Kate will reach out to Utah to see if they would like to meet and discuss Washington’s approach for forensic genealogy testing. Elysha will inform BJA that Washington will be resubmitting the inventory certification with an updated number of partially tested SAKs.
June monthly check-in. Informed them that the check-ins will be via telephone only once a quarter while the rest will be via email, sent TTA request from the Fayetteville PD Site Coordinator for assistance with forensic genealogy, and asked about the update inventory certification for their partially tested SAK inventory.
