Lisa reached out to Crystal and Pattie regarding Desiree's questions. It was decided that Fresno PD would need to complete a new inventory certification for the new award to address the partially tested SAKs and RADS cases. Lisa responded to Desiree via email with this information.
Fresno PD and SAKI TTA held a call together to discuss the next steps for creating their inventory certification. Information was also shared regarding how to handle the partially tested SAKs and RADS cases.
Neal reached out with more questions regarding the language that they should use in the inventory certification from for their partially tested SAKs and RADS cases. It was decided by SAKI TTA leadership that another phone call would be best, and a meeting was set for 1/26/21 at 4:30 PM ET.
Pattie, Lisa and the Fresno PD team held a call on 1/26 to discuss more details about their inventory certification and phased approach to testing secondary evidence. Next steps included asking BJA if Fresno can submit a phased inventory approach for testing their secondary evidence, sending examples of phased approaches from other sites, and providing information around secondary evidence requests from other sites to BJA.
After BJA gave approval, list sent Fresno two examples of phased approaches from Washington State and the state of Minnesota.
More follow up to Fresno will be sent regarding support from Charlotte-Mecklenburg PD around secondary evidence testing, if needed.
