Cari Gerlicher and Jeff Shorba will conduct a 2-day specialized administrative investigative training for investigators and a half-day train-the-trainer session for investigators and supervisors who work in community confinement centers or halfway houses regulated by the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation. All of the training will be conducted at 2100 Stella Court, Columbus, Ohio.

o Overview of the PREA Investigative Standards
o First Responders and Evidence Collection
o Legal Issues and Use of Miranda and Garrity
o Understanding Trauma
o Interviewing
o Investigating Sexual Harassment and Sexual Abuse
o Report Writing
o Working with a Victim Advocate
