The CSG Justice Center has made significant progress in its efforts to establish the Justice and Mental Health Collaboration Program (JMHCP) Capacity Based Program (CBP) Technical Assistance (TA) Center to lead the field in improving cross-systems responses to people with mental illnesses (MI) and co-occurring substance abuse (CMISA) in the criminal justice system. As proposed, The CSG Justice Center are prioritizing TA in FY19 to support and advance effective law enforcement (LE) responses to homelessness, local efforts to reduce MI prevalence in jails, and the states' role in supporting local efforts. To that end, the CSG Justice Center created a satisfaction survey to be shared with jurisdictions after having provided the requested technical assistance, to assist with review and improvement of services provided.
