CHJ and Cheyenne conducted the initial call on February 11 when the site expressed interest in being matched with a mentor site. We discussed the five pathways to diversion. CHJ had a follow-up call with the site on February 28 to discuss the site chosen for mentoring. Cheyenne is looking to implement a LEAD program and wanted to be matched with them as mentors. We have not paired them with a mentor because they have been working with LEAD/Public Defender’s Association, written into their COSSAP grant. We paused working with them regarding the mentoring initiative until status with LEAD is established.
Due to COVID-19, CHJ has switched in-person site visits to virtual site visits so that mentees can continue to take advantage of the benefits of mentorship.
After TTA with CHJ, site has been matched with mentor Yellow Line Project in Blue Earth County, MN. 6/10/21 Scheduling initial introduction call with mentor and mentee is in progress.

- General information regarding the request for TTA services, i.e., the who, what, where, when, and why.
- The organizational and/or community needs specific to the request for TTA services.
- The benefits or anticipated outcomes from the receipt of TTA services.
By submitting this application to BJA NTTAC, I understand that upon approval of this application for TTA, the requestor agrees to keep BJA NTTAC informed of any circumstances that may impact the delivery of the TTA, including changes in the date of the event, event cancellation, or difficulties communicating with the assigned TTA provider.
