Chris sent a check-in email to see how project work is going with the grantee. An inquiry about the usage of "do-it-yourself" sexual assault kits was included in the communication to see if the grantee has any knowledge of these types of SAKs being used in their area.
Additionally, Chris included information about the Virtual 5th Annual National SAKI Grantees Meeting that is being hosted September 16-18. The registration email from SAKI TTA was included as well as information on the attendance cap per SAKI site.
Kayleigh responded stating that they have not heard of DIY SAKs in Albuquerque. She also mentioned that all SAKs are now equipped with barcodes corresponding to their statewide tracking system. Therefore, they can confidently report that no SAKs have been DIY SAKs.
She also mentioned that they are discussing attendees for the National Meeting and will be registering soon.
