Facilitated call between NC DOJ SAKI team and BJA to discuss a budget adjustment to move $47,000 from the personnel category to the procurement contracts category for a flat rate contract with a victim advocate/agency. Due to freezes in the state hiring system, they had to create a temporary position without benefits and they did not receive any viable candidates. Due to state procurement rules, they would need to post this contract for bid. The Statement of Work for the RFP tracks the original job description and asks for flat rate bids inclusive of all employee time and travel.
Facilitated a call between the NC DOJ SAKI team and BJA to discuss contracts and ViCAP.
Provide NC DOJ with the Kansas CODIS packet.
Facilitated call between NCDOJ and BJA to discuss the Victim Advocate RFP and application they received. We also discussed a few other budgetary changes that the team wanted to make as well as bringing on a subcontractor for providing the SANE perspective during virtual trainings.

By submitting this application to BJA NTTAC, I understand that upon approval of this application for TTA, the requestor agrees to keep BJA NTTAC informed of any circumstances that may impact the delivery of the TTA, including changes in the date of the event, event cancellation, or difficulties communicating with the assigned TTA provider.
