Keeley reached out requesting a review of a podcast overview. WIDOJ plans to develop a podcast every 2-3 weeks that will be posted on a secure law enforcement website. The podcast will focus on topics related to sexual assault.
Amanda reviewed the podcast materials and provided input on future topics to consider including. After conversation with BJA, Amanda also provided information on the BJA review and approval process for each podcast.
Keeley provided a draft outline of their second podcast for their Yes means Yes series. Amanda and Crystal reviewed the draft and had concerns over topics focused on legislation since the podcast is federally funded and sexual assault reform legislation became very political in WI. Amanda shared these concerns with Keeley and provided additional recommendations for the podcast such as removing the term "backlog" and including the impact on victims of addressing sexual assault response reform.
Keeley reached out requesting review of several podcast scripts. Amanda and Jim Markey reviewed the podcast scripts and provided feedback. Responses were provided to Keeley on May 14th. Keeley stated she would be getting the materials reviewed by BJA.
