Jessica sent Ruthie a copy of the inventory checklist for the first phase of MD's inventory (Montgomery County).
After catching up at the Statewide Workshop, Ruthie returned the inventory with her own and Pattie's comments.
After further comments from Ruthie and Pattie, Jessica returned a final version of the inventory checklist to Ruthie, who handed it on to BJA on 9/24. Due to a phrasing misunderstanding, BJA initially feared that Maryland did not intend to test their partial kits and mentioned this at a BJA/RTI meeting; Ruthie clarified with Maryland.
RTI and Maryland held a telephone call to discuss the inventory checklist, wherein it was revealed that MD GOCCP does have a plan that has been approved by BJA. Montgomery County (Phase 1) did have an inventory of partially tested kits, which was approved. For the other three phases, MD was working with individual jurisdictions to narrow down their definitions of partially tested kits. If the definitions agreed, the inventory would be complete. If the definitions did not match, Jessica would work with each agency to determine the inventory based on the BJA partial definition. As Ruthie was traveling for the BJA meeting, Crystal presented this to BJA and they approved.
