Keeley reached out with a questionnaire that WI DOJ has developed focused on evidence tracking systems. They want to send the questionnaire out to all SAKI sites to learn more about what evidence tracking systems are being used.
Amanda advised that SAKI TTA did not want to send out a mass email to sites at this time as they didnt want it to get lost with all the other national meeting emails that are currently going out.
SAKI TTA has offered to do a targeted reachout at the National meeting to ask sites to participate in the questionnaire. Amanda asked Keeley to let her know how many responses she receives during the national meeting. Depending on the response rate, SAKI TTA will send out the questionnaire to targeted SAKI sites.
Amanda also offered to hold an evidence tracking working group call to discuss systems being used and to clarify any questions from the information gathered.
Amanda also provided information on the Idaho tracking system, contact information for the NC site, and a factsheet on STACS DNA.
Talked with WI DOJ about responses they have received regarding their evidence tracking request. WI DOJ had received responses from Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, Portland, Montana, Hawaii, and Iowa. WI DOJ was expecting a response with Michigan. WI DOJ requested responses from Washington, Arizona, and Texas. Amanda reached out to the appropriate site liaisons to reach out to the sites to make the request.
Provided response from Arizona SAKI site (Maricopa County) and Dallas County SAKI site.
Keeley requested contact information for Idaho site coordinator. Amanda provided Keeley with contact information and let her know that Idaho is not a SAKI site.
Chris provided Keeley with responses and contact information from Austin SAKI site.
