The Milwaukee, Wisconsin Police Department (MPD), as part of the Milwaukee Public Safety Partnership (PSP) site, requested travel support for three representatives to attend the Nashville, Tennessee Family Safety Center. BJA NTTAC provided travel support to three representatives from the Milwaukee PSP site to attend the peer exchange on July 16, 2019 10 – 15, 2017 in Nashville, Tennessee.
The goal of the site visit is to see how they collaborate within their peace center, what partnerships they have, and what is working for them. They also have a family intervention program which would be beneficial to see and compare to our domestic violence high risk team at MPD.
