Center staff organized and hosted a structured site visit to the Red Hook Community Justice Center for the Little Earth United Tribes Harrell Mathieu, Pathway Advocate/Youth Coordinator and Makenzie Nolan, Director of Community Safety Programs/Peacemaking Coordinator. Visitors also included Jennifer Saunders Supervising Attorney - Criminal Division, Minneapolis City Attorney's Office; Lieutenant Gary Nelson, Minneapolis Police Department - 3rd Precinct; Roberta Gibbons, PhD, Associate Professor Metro State University, CBCR Research Team; Sarah Greenman, PhD, Assistant Professor, Hamline University, CBCR Research Team; Shelly Schaefer, PhD, Associate Professor, Hamline University, Principal Investigator, CBCR Research Team, and Safe Communities of United Tribes (Scout Team): Cassandra Holmes, Scout Coordinator; Shontal Lajeunesse, Scout Team Member; Juana Espinoza, Scout Team Member, and others. The site visit included meeting with key players and talking with site social service providers.
